Watching the Big Game

    Our family has always enjoyed curling up on the couch to watch a good football game together.  There's just nothing more relaxing on a Sunday afternoon, than to drift off to a little nap while watching the game.   This time, our daughter got the game to herself, and I must say that she looks quite relaxed!

   We sure hate to see the end of the football season!  (Hopefully, our teams will do better next year!)

My little baby girl is only a few days old in these photos. It seems she is changing everyday, so I may post more photos soon!

I Heart Pink!

   As many of you know, our daughter was born this week!  Of course I have been busily taking hundreds of photos.  I was pleasantly surprised to see that this week's theme over at "i ♥ faces" is "Pink"!  I've been seeing a lot of pink this week!

I Heart Mother's Day

   As you could expect, this week the theme at "i ♥ faces"  is "Celebrating Moms."  I am so proud of my wife; she is such a wonderful mother to our son!  Be sure to see my whole Mother's Day Post.   I took this photo of my wife and infant son in the hospital soon after his birth.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to My Wonderful Wife! Since our son, Johnathan, can't write yet, I had to write this post on his behalf!

What an "adventurous" time it was as we were expecting our son! We knew so many changes were about to take place, yet, we could never have imagined all the joy this new baby would bring to us. Throughout the pregnancy, Tracy's loving motherhood expressed itself in the way she cared for the baby she carried. Changing her lifestyle and diet were only a few of the things she did to protect her unborn baby.

Immediately after Johnathan's birth, Tracy cherished every moment she had to hold our new son!

What a Precious Baby God Brought into our lives!

No baby ever had a better, more loving mother than Johnathan does!

As he continues to grow, he knows that his mother will always take time for him.

And now, as she caries his sibling, Johnathan wants his mother to know that he loves her with all his heart and is so thankful that he has the best mother in the world!

Tracy, we love you so much! You are the best mother (and wife) in the world!

Johnathan's First Birthday Cake

      We just celebrated our son's first Birthday with his very own cake! Need I say more? You can only imagine how wired he was about an hour and a half afterward! He thoroughly enjoyed himself, to say the least!

Johnathan's First Snow!

      I don't know what possessed me to leave North Carolina to go to Omaha,NE in December!   Although I've really enjoyed our time with my in-laws, the weather has been so cold!  They had about six inches when we got here, and then have had an additional 12-18 inches, plus snow drifts!  Johnathan really enjoyed it though, as this was his first encounter with the cold white stuff!
      I'm also posting these pictures to prove to my sister in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, Canada that we get snow here too!
